Information Session Entrepreneurship & Business Strategies for Start-Ups

Earlier this year, at our maiden event “A Night of Honour and Empowerment to Accelerate Action and Raise Awareness about Endometriosis,” we came together to celebrate and uplift women. During this occasion, we proudly launched the “One Woman – One Mentor” initiative, alongside other impactful projects.

AFN Joins International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Its Abolition

On this beautiful day, Asso Des Femmes Nyansapo joins the world in remembering the numbers of African men, promising women, and innocent children who endured unimaginable suffering during the transatlantic/Triangular slave trade. From the 16th century until its abolition in the early 19th century, countless lives were uprooted, families separated, and cultures disrupted.



AFN CELEBRATES WORLD MALARIA DAY

Each year, malaria kills approximately 600,000 people worldwide, with the majority of victims being children under five and pregnant women.
On WorldMosquitoDay 2025, the Association des Femmes Nyansapo (AFN) stands with WHO to break the deadly cycle of malaria with the theme for World Malaria Day 2025, “Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite.

Roots to Ghana Initiative Comes to a Successful End

The closing ceremony for Roots to Ghana took place on July 19, 2025, marking the culmination of a month-long mission in Ghana as a Gender Advocate and Women Entrepreneurship partner with International Child Development Program (ICDP), Ghana. AFN supported a sister organisation, Association Salamandre Grise on Parcours d’Exiliées de la Prostitution, le bout du voyage project which has been ongoing for the past 15 months.

Women of Redemption faith Ministries Int. Amsterdam – Netherlands welcomed Association des Femmes Nyansapo.

The enthusiasm with which we were received was amazing. We are grateful for accepting to be advocates of Endometriosis, to advise fellow Women to go for check ups when need be.

Awareness on Endometriosis in minority communities in France and Europe.

As part of AFN’s 2025 project, awareness about Endometriosis in minority communities here in France and Europe are been raised.
This inspiration comes from the positive feedback gotten after inviting Speciallady Awareness Global to speak on Endometriosis at our just ended IWD Event in Paris.
Endo needs to be advocated on. We don’t have many Doctors specialized in this field.
We request for volunteers, experts in this field to come on board to raise the awareness together.

AFN was glad to be at the Women of Valour event held on the 7th March,2025 prior to IWD 2025, which was held in Paris.
An inspiring and impactful event it was. More of these events are needed to help push the agendaSDG2030.

Awards were presented to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of speakers and certificate of participation were presented to all attendees including those who joined virtually.
Each recognition symbolised the collective effort to inspire, empower, and accelerate action.

FRANCE-GHANA WIDU BRIEFING SESSION, NANTES.

This event, which took place on the 6th of October, 2024, in Nantes, aimed to bring together a WIDU expert to assist the Ghanaian community in the grant application process. We sincerely thank Mariam Sao Demba, founder and president of the Maison de l’Afrique. Bravo!

13th edition of the Casapalabres Festival

As usual, the AFN supported a sister organization at the 13th Casapalabres Festival. This edition, themed “Women: Engaged Voices” was organized by the Maison de l’Afrique in Nantes, France, from November 6 to 11, 2024.

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Mary Asante (Founder of the Nyansapo Women’s Association) and Josephine Tweneboah Koduah (Protocol Officer) represented the Nyansapo Women’s Association at the event “Endometriosis Awareness in Minority Communities.”
